Playing Live for the Liederkranz Lumpenball is Angie Kriz and The PolkaToons who plays mostly Czech polkas and waltzes, but also add lots of variety and fun to their parties! They are a three piece band consisting of primarily Angie on button accordion and vocals, Craig Falls on Tuba, and usually Justin Patrick on Drums

Self-proclaimed rock & rollers and lovers of the blues, Womanish Girl is a Kansas City-based duo composed of guitarist and vocalist Katy Guillen and drummer Steph Williams. Guillen and Williams carry on their undeniable collaborative chemistry and appreciation for roots & blues music in this stripped-down formation. They pour their years of touring and creating together into an interpretation of the blues that is raw, energetic, and deep as Womanish Girl.

John Byrne is a Dublin native and Philadelphia-based musician who performs as a solo act and with The John Byrne Band. Their debut album, After the Wake, was released to critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic in 2011. With influences ranging from Tom Waits to Planxty, John’s songwriting honors and expands upon the musical and lyrical traditions of his native and adopted homes.
