The Grand Island Liederkranz
Central Nebraska’s premiere German society located in the heart of the Grand Island Railside district. The Liederkranz has always been a family oriented private klub. Our facilities include a dining room, lounge, bowling alley, ballroom, private bar, annex, rathskeller and enclosed courtyard. All of which are available to rent for private weddings and events.

Book your wedding or other special event at our classic private klub and Railside venue. Our indoor or outdoor party spaces can be rented by members or non-members. Offering a unique experience you can’t find anywhere else in Railside.

Reduced Event Prices
As a member of the Liederkranz, you will have access to reduced entry fees to our many events throughout the year.
Bowling
The bowling alley is available to members Thursday and Friday nights. We have shoe sizes from 1 through 13. Fees are a nominal $2 per game and shoes rental 25¢.
Culinary Experinces
The dining room at the Liederkranz Klub offers members a classic dining menu that includes many authentic German entrees.
Liederkranz Singer’s
Organized to carry on the klub’s tradition of song. Open to anyone who wants to have fun and learn some of the old German songs.

Bier Klub is currently under construction! We are revamping this program and are looking for new committee members to help us out!
Bowling League
Wednesday’s at 6:30 pm. New leagues start each month and run for 4-weeks. $45/team – Food and beverage specials available.
German Night
Usually the second Friday of the month featuring German or continental cuisine. If you prefer, you may order regular menu items. Guests are welcome.
