Playing Live for the Liederkranz Lumpenball is Angie Kriz and The PolkaToons who plays mostly Czech polkas and waltzes, but also add lots of variety and fun to their parties! They are a three piece band consisting of primarily Angie on button accordion and vocals, Craig Falls on Tuba, and usually Justin Patrick on Drums

The Lumpenball is the last of the last Parties of Fasching! 

-and arguably the best of the Fashing Parties!

 In German, Lumpen is translated as “rags” or “Ragamuffin”…. and a Ball is, well, a Ball, with dancing.

A Lumpenball, in translation, is a Ragamuffin Ball or a dress down to raggy clothing ball- no need to dress fancy ball.

Joslyne DeBonis started her comedy career in Omaha, Nebraska. Since her start in comedy she’s been traveling the Midwest and connecting with the thriving local scene. Her comedy ranges from embarrassing stories from childhood to embarrassing stories as a young adult.

Self-proclaimed rock & rollers and lovers of the blues, Womanish Girl is a Kansas City-based duo composed of guitarist and vocalist Katy Guillen and drummer Steph Williams. Guillen and Williams carry on their undeniable collaborative chemistry and appreciation for roots & blues music in this stripped-down formation. They pour their years of touring and creating together into an interpretation of the blues that is raw, energetic, and deep as Womanish Girl.
